In the past two years, new display technology has become a key project of local governments. Today, there is new information in Shenzhen and Suzhou.
Up to 7.5 million yuan, the special fund for the new display industry in Longhua District of Shenzhen has been declared. In order to encourage the development of the digital economy industry in Longhua District of Shenzhen and support the new display enterprises to become bigger and stronger, the Development and Reform Bureau of Longhua District is now organizing the declaration of the special fund for the development of the new display industry in Longhua District in 2023. The first round of declaration is from February 24, 2023 to March 31, 2023. The objects of application are enterprises, industrial associations and other organizations with registration, actual place of business, tax relations and statistical relations in Longhua District. The relevant products mainly include OLED (organic light emitting diode) display, Micro/MiniLED (micro light emitting diode) display, AMOLED (active matrix organic light emitting diode) display, 8K ultra-high definition display, QLED (electroluminescent quantum dot) display, laser display, 3D (three-dimensional) display R&D, manufacturing and application of materials, parts, key equipment and products in holographic display and other fields.
Two panel projects were selected into the list of key projects in Suzhou in 2023. Kunshan Youda Sixth Generation Low Temperature Polysilicon (LTPS) LCD panel expansion project, with a total investment of 1.8 billion dollars. This production line is the world's highest generation of LTPS (low temperature polycrystalline silicon) panel line owned by Kunshan Youda, and is the world's most advanced LTPS panel factory in terms of process technology and production equipment. The expansion project was launched in February last year. Suzhou Huaxing Optoelectronic high-end LCD display project, with a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan, mainly produces 15.62 "- 34" monitors and TFT-LCD display modules for television. After completion, the annual production capacity will be 30 million pieces. The project has been capped at the end of August last year. The project is expected to be put into production in March this year.
